Freehand design work

This painting is done, free hand. A centerline is laid out for straightness and compass used to make the circle. The design is then painted pre-hand sign, painting and lettering brushes. It’s the evolution of an art style known as freehand pinstriping. Which was done for years on cars. Prior to that it was done on carriages.
